Community Mediation Program

Program Summary

The Community Mediation Program provides community-led mediation services for free to members of a given community in a disagreement or dispute. DRI equips local community members with the tools needed to resolve their specific problems and helps coordinate mediators with cases. Our programs are grant funded and supported by the local community institutions we partner with such as government entities, local libraries, and community organizations.

Areas served

Champaign, Jackson, and St. Clair Counties

What Happens After I Have Been Accepted Into the Program?

Once you have been accepted into the Community Mediation Program, you will be contacted by one of our staff to provide any information and documentation we may need.  Once the initial intake and screening has been completed our staff will schedule the mediation.  Most of our mediations are completed through Zoom and other video conferencing software, however participants without stable internet service will be provided with an in person option.  For more information, please contact us.
